Monday morning

This view from the bus window does little to inspire me today. These are the days where I tap in to that place inside where I save energy, good mood and warm fuzzy feelings from times like last night when I have them in abundance.

Sunday night setup.

Ok, so it's 9 pm on a Sunday night of a work weekend. I'm beat, but I can't go to sleep without shame just yet. Solution: Bring my laptop and a cup of tea to bed to watch a few episodes of a good TV show. This is relaxation, folks.

At the carwash.

Just got up at 7am on my day off to drive my husband to work, because our car had an appointment at the spa.
It's a fabulous service provided by our local day center, you drop your car off there for the day and they wash, wax, polish, vacuum clean, and even wipe it down with "new car scent". All for the nimble price of 580 SEK. One of the perks of small town living, I presume.

Ayo Technology.

Ok, so this is what it's come to. It seems I am now so overly dependant on technology I'd rather use my mobile phone to snap a picture of myself than pick up a mirror from my purse when I need to check if my mascara's running. I don't know if that's funny or just sad... (And PS. It wasn't.)

Addictions.

On the subject of addictions, here's my latest one. "How I met your mother". In 2 days I've watched 15 episodes, and now my head is filled with NYC apartments no one could ever afford, awesome nights out no 28-year-olds ever have and fantasies of Neil Patrick Harris in the shape of awesomely suited up Barney. I like.

Tea lights.

I'm lucky to live in use promised land of tea lights, IKEA really hits the spot selling them by the hundreds. To me, they're part of lesson 1a in surviving cold fall nights. This also includes chai tea with milk and vanilla syrup, something I've grown quite addicted to.

Autumn in suburbia

Jesus Christ it's cold... I'm still not over summer and this view from my bedroom window isn't helping. Oh well, I'll just go make another cup of tea, put on some warm socks and hope for the best.
